Hole No. 5
The fifth hole is sharp dog-leg left par 4 with a fairway that narrows dramatically around 225 yards from the tee. As it bends left, there is a steep slope downward that allows an approach shot of between 150 and 200 yards.
If you are a risk-taker, a strong drive off of the fifth tee can be placed over the oak trees that line the left side of the fairway - but be careful because a poorly placed drive down the left side of fairway can spell disaster! A safer approach is possibly a long iron down the middle of the fairway. Such a shot, however will leave a second shot with a steep downward slope.

If you place your tee shot well, you will have a nice 200-yard approach shot to the green. The green is modestly sized, so accuracy is the key to success on this hole.

The fifth green slopes moderately from rear to front, and many golfers 3-putt this green because of misread breaks. A well placed approach shot should land the golf ball near the center of the green.
